Undercover Prince....

Undercover Prince - working as a bouncer on the doors of popular night spot The Shed in Glasgow

Last night saw the launch of Channel 4's  new prime time show Undercover Prince, in which pint sized popstrel Prince goes undercover in a variety of jobs across the UK. The first episode saw Prince working as a bouncer on the doors of popular Glasgow nightclub The Shed for an entire year unbeknown to the other staff or indeed the party goers who queued for entry to the club every weekend throughout this period.

Despite his trademark short stature Prince was seen to throw his weight around on the Glasgow club scene making him unpopular amongst the late night revellers. The hour long special was a compilation of the best bits of Prince's year working on the doors of the Shed and saw him engaged in a number of confrontations, although Prince puts this down to the nature of the job. "It is harder than you would think working as a bouncer in Glasgow. You have to stand at the door in all weathers and make split decisions on whether or not you like the look of someone and will allow them entry."

Despite the heavy workload of his job as bouncer Prince found the time and inspiration to pen a number of songs and the finale of the show last night saw Prince reveal his true identity to the assembled bar, door and cloakroom staff as well as clubbers before performing his newly edited hits "The Most Beautiful Girl in the Shed," "Glasgow Rain," and "When Drunks Cry" to the surprise and delight of the crowd.

If you missed last nights edition of Undercover Prince catch up now on 4 on Demand. Next week sees Prince working undercover as a mechanic in Hull.

Inspired by Dance... A Christmas Message

Meet 19 year old Sandy Dance a young man from Bridlington who is trying to make his name in the world of dance.

Sandy has a Christmas message that he would like to communicate through the medium of dance. Introducing Sandy Dance's Christmas message....

If you guessed that Sandy was portraying his frustration at the increasing capitalist nature of the Christmas festival and his genuine fear that the true meaning of Christmas is being lost in the saturation of advertising and media in modern society then you were spot on!

Sandy Dance can currently be seen performing in the self choreographed one man Nativity play in Bridlington Church Hall in the roles of Joseph, Mary, the Angel Gabriel, The shepherds, the three wisemen, the innkeeper, the donkey and of course baby jesus. Doors open at 7.30pm from Monday 19th December up until Christmas Eve. Tickets cost £4.50 with all proceeds going to the Bridling Church Roof Fund.

 Merry Christmas from Sandy Dance!

Not Lost My Head.. Thank Goodness Cause That's Where I keep my Haircut!

Pronto Mama - Ah the youngsters with their haircuts and their... eh trousers!?

Last night Pronto Mama launched their amazing first single, Not Lost my Head, in Glasgow's Stereo Cafe. They stormed through their set in a flurry of flying spectacles and made the crowd forget about the rain and wind outside. With songs that are sometimes witty, sometimes poignant but always brilliant I'm now looking forward to the album launch!

But.... let me tell you if there is one thing I like more than Pronto Mama's music it's their haircuts! Not since Sophie Habibis from X Factor's fringe have I seen haircuts with such personality and star quality! My own fringe, which is currently trying to strike out on it's own and launch a career in stand up comedy, took a shine to the four haircuts of Pronto Mama and is hoping to interview them soon! Check back in the coming weeks to see if we can make the dreams of my fringe a reality!

I insist you check them out soon!

The Party's Over for Solomon....

Solomon's mug shot following her arrest.

As most Christmas Parties are beginning to get underway it seems that the party is over for Stacey Solomon as it has just emerged that the house in which she has been seen partying like a celebrity in Iceland advertisements in the run up to Christmas did not in fact belong to her but that she had broken into the property in order to pose as the homeowner and host the Iceland faux celebrity party.

The house in Chelsea, London in fact belongs to the Pinemartin family who were shocked to return from a fortnight's skiing holiday in Aspen to discover Solomon squatting in their family home and using it as a venue to host the fortnight long partying binge. The Pinemartin family were disgusted to see tipsy party guests had raided their freezer to gorge themselves on mini prawn toasts and individual mini banoffee pies.

Sergeant Pepper of the Metropolitan police commented "I can confirm that a 22 year old female has been arrested on charges of breaking and entering, criminal damage and theft. It would seem that events snowballed for this individual after announcing details of this celebrity style party on social networking sites led to a crowd of eight to ten party goers turning up at the address to mingle and enjoy party snacks, which has as a result led to them to be charged with handling stolen goods."

Representatives of both Solomon and Iceland refused to comment.
